Byera Linkers were crowned Men’s Champions while Famalay & Friends captured the Women’s title as the Shevern John T10 Cricket Tournament climaxed in Owia on Sunday at the Owia Playing Field.
Women’s finals
Famalay & Friends defeated Warriors 11 by 10 wickets
Warriors 11 batted first and were restricted to 50 runs.
Famalay & Friends produced a commanding batting display in reply, reaching 52 without loss to secure an emphatic 10-wicket victory and claim the Women’s Championship.
The victory capped off an outstanding tournament campaign by Famalay & Friends, who remained composed throughout the chase and never allowed Warriors 11 an opportunity to get back into the contest.
Men’s Finals
Byera Linkers defeated Famalay & Friends by 7 wickets
Batting first, Famalay & Friends posted 66 runs.
Byera Linkers responded confidently, finishing on 70 for 3 to secure victory by 7 wickets and be crowned the 2026 Shevern John T10 Men’s Champions.
The successful chase highlighted Byera Linkers’ strength and consistency throughout the tournament, as they comfortably overhauled the target to lift the championship trophy.
