The Archery Association of SVG, Inc. held their outdoor national championships on Saturday at the National Archery Range in Belair.

Archers competed in various categories/divisions in a tightly contested event.

For the first time, the association had archers shooting Olympic distance at 70 metres, along with archers shooting in beginner and development categories.

The hot conditions proved a worthy opponent as archers battled the heat to shoot their respective qualifying round of 72 arrows, setting several new national records.

This was followed by a knockout elimination round to determine the champions in each category.
