Police are investigating the death of a Union Island man who was killed in Vermont on Wednesday.
The dead man has been identified as 32-year-old Kamau Jones
Police say that Jones died around 11 p.m. after being attacked by unknown assailants.
Reports are that he was attacked and received several gunshot wounds about the body and a chop wound to the back of the head.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jones’ death brings to 20 the number of homicides in St. Vincent and the Grenadines so far this year.
