Two Vincentian students graduated from the university Instituto Universitario de Tecnología Puerto Cabello, Extension Costa Oriental Estado Falcón, Sede Chichiriviche in Venezuela on Dec. 15.
The students, Tanika May of Enhams and Davina Roberts of Redemption Sharpes, completed a five-year programme to obtain their Bachelor’s Degree in tourism with special mention in Tourism Management.
Prior to the graduation, the students took part in a thanksgiving service and a book signing ceremony to commemorate their time spent at the university.
The graduates said it was a proud moment for them that could have been made better if a representative of the Vincentian diplomatic mission in Venezuela would have attended.
The graduates expressed thanks to their family members, friends and loved ones who supported, encouraged, prayed and contributed to the successful completion of their studies.
They are currently awaiting their documents and are expected to return to St. Vincent and the Grenadines soon.
