Threatening life: On Jan. 12, Glenroy Providence, 41, unemployed of Spring Village was arrested by virtue of a warrant and charged with the following offences, (i) in circumstances likely to cause a breach of the peace made use of indecent language, (ii) made use of threats on the life of Alex Primus, Cpl 563, and (iii) for assaulting Corporal. 563 Primus with intent to commit an offence, at Spring Village, on Jan. 11.

Wayne Spring, 30, unemployed of Spring Village, was also arrested by virtue of a warrant and charged with,(i) in circumstances likely to cause a breach of the peace, made use of indecent language and (ii) made use of threats on the life of Alex Primus, Cpl. 563, at Spring Village on Jan. 11.

Lafleur Spring Jackson, 40, nursing assistant of Georgetown, was arrested and charged with obstructing Cpl 563 Primus, he being a police officer acting in the due execution of his duty, “by preventing him from arresting Glenroy Providence”, at Spring Village, Georgetown, on Jan. 11.

Vehicular accident: The Police are investigating a motor vehicular accident which involved motor vehicle PB 117, a car owned and driven by Desborne Nanton of Cane End which ran off Greiggs public road and into a river on Jan. 11.

The driver, along with three passengers, sustained injuries and were taken to the Levi Latham Health Centre, where they were treated and discharged.

Damage to property: On Jan. 11, Steven Stephens, 22, unemployed of Walvarou, was arrested and charged for without lawful excuse damaged a quantity of items valued at EC$4,631, the property of Marcie Stephens of Walvarou, at Walvarou on Jan. 11.
