The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court has appointed Stanley Kendrick John, barrister-at-law, to be Her Majesty’s Counsel for the states and colonies served by the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.

John has been appointed as one of the Counsel for the states and colonies to which the jurisdiction of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court extends.

That is to say the States of Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Kitts and Nevis, the British Virgin Islands and Montserrat.

“John’s appointment to the rank and dignity of Queen’s Counsel is very much deserving after many years of distinguished service at the Bar,” Government House said in a release.

The Letters Patent on his appointment were issued by Governor-General of SVG, Sir Frederick Ballantyne.
