The Trinidadian who escaped from prison in St. Vincent in February has been arrested in his home country.
Police in St. Vincent and the Grenadines say that Desmond “Cat” Pavy, who escaped from Her Majesty’s Prison at Belle on Feb. 22, was caught in Trinidad and Tobago on March 24.
An extradition hearing in Trinidad and Tobago is scheduled for April 23.
Pavy was serving a custodial sentence at Her Majesty’s Prison for being in possession of a controlled drug.
