The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal accident, which occurred at Lodge Village public road on 19 October 2015.
Richard Bardoo, 29, chauffeur of Fountain, was driving minibus HN 113, a Toyota Hiace, from Block 2000 to Redemption Sharpes via Lodge Village public road, when Gabriel James, a 6-year-old student of Largo Height, was struck.

Preliminary investigations show that the minibus swerved away and hit a utility pole. It is reported that Kunjah Browne, a 9-year-old student of Redemption Sharpes, who was a passenger in minibus, HN 113, head hit a utility pole, causing him to sustain severe head and neck injuries. He subsequently died on the spot.
Bardoo is assisting the police with the investigation.
A postmortem examination is expected to be performed on the body.
There have been 10 road accidents this year, which resulted in the deaths of 18 persons.
