Kart Club SVG, a start-up go-karting business, will host the first-ever go-kart racing tournament with the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College on Saturday, Jan. 30, and Feb. 6.
The finalists will compete on Feb. 27 at Solidarity Car Park in Kingstown.
Kart Club SVG, the brainchild of Stefan Goodluck of Calliaqua, is a mobile go-karting service offering business geared towards providing an alternative entertainment source for teens and young adults in SVG.
Goodluck said that with the limited entertainment suitable for pre-teens as well as for teens, Vincentians would be eager to have this option.
“Over time, there may be serious racing careers developed out of the love of this sport.”
Our mission is to become the recognised leader in its targeted market for providing safe and fun go-kart usage to the general public,” he said.
