Police have launched an investigation into the shooting death of a Kingstown vendor, whose body was found near his home Friday morning.
Police said that Kamara “BK” Richards of Old Montrose appeared to have at least three gunshot injuries about the torso when he was found dead.
A senior detective told iWitness News that it appears that Richards tried to run during the attack, but fell, injuring his face and head.
Residents of the area reported hearing gunshots around 3 a.m. and police said that it appears that Richards was on his way home when he was shot and killed.
Richards was a vendor in Kingstown and plied his trade under the ACE Hardware gallery in Kingstown.
The question is why?
