Twenty-three cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at the Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre in Glen.
The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) said, on Friday, that the cases were uncovered during contact tracing and general screening.
Of the cases, 21 are patients and two are staff members.
“Isolation and quarantine measures are being implemented along with additional testing to ensure containment of any further spread in the facility,” NEMO said in its daily press statement.
“None of the persons is unwell.”
Three other COVID-19 cases were confirmed, on Thursday, including one person who tested positive on quarantine day five.
Additionally, one person tested positive on exit screening and one contact of a known case also tested positive.
NEMO also said that 19 persons were cleared bringing the number of total recoveries to 932.
This means that 616 cases remain active.
Eight persons with COVID-19 have died in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Since March 2020, the country has confirmed 1,556 cases of COVID-19.
“The public is urged to consistently use a mask, sanitize, physically distance and get vaccinated to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines,” NEMO said.

There is a reason for this and I have told the minister what is happening, it is much worse than this, this is only the tip of the iceberg.
I would tell people that they should do the research for themselves before believing and acting based on what any person, government, agency or industry tells you. Even Bill Gats says that 800,000 people in the USA will die from the vaccines. Some say 1% is the percentage. Many say that world-wide the actual death rate from Covid-19 is far below 1%. How are we to know for sure? It is only a well-known fact that the death toll has been greatly manipulated and exaggerated.
We are undeniably living in the age of disinformation. Those that are putting out the lies are saying that the misinformation comes from those that actually tell us the truth. I suggest listening to those ON THE FRONT-LINE (before they delete them off the internet) onstead of politicians or Corporate News. At least we get far more accurate news in SVG then they do in the USA. Here, the FAKE NEWS about what goes on locally often does not last long, because word-of-mouth often kills the misinformation. Talking to nurses and doctors most often tells me much different facts than what we read or hear in the news. We should also be aware of what the long-term effects may be from all the Bill Gates sponsored vaccines. Why are many of our elites taking the Russian Vaccine instead?
