The Arnos Vale Harvest Bible Chapel, one of the most well-known churches in St.

Vincent and the Grenadines, has announced that it has changed its name to Highpoint

Church. This comes more than two years after the dissolution of Harvest Bible Fellowship, the church planting organization that planted the church in SVG 11 years ago.

Harvest Bible Chapel Arnos Vale was established in 2010 by Al Blake and his wife Debbie Blake. The church initially held services at the Aquatic Club in Villa for many years before moving to their current location in Arnos Vale. Today, the church is home to over 400 members who attend two services on Sundays and meet in homes during the week in what is called Small Groups. Services are also broadcasted weekly on Facebook and YouTube.

Al Blake, Senior Pastor of Highpoint Church stated, “High Point allows us to continue to fulfill the great commission and would help us to reach more people not only in SVG but the Caribbean region.”

The name change is being carried out gradually over a period of six weeks under the theme, “New Name. Same Identity.” Members will continue to enjoy the same worship experience, the same ministry philosophy, and the same doctrine. The name change will empower the organization to achieve its vision of becoming a church planting church in the Caribbean whilst caring for its members, staff, and community.
