A school principal who has been an educator for ‘over 30 years’, a Customs officer fired after 31 years in the public service, a pastor opposed to mandatory vaccination, and a teacher with a history of blood clots who was denied an exemption on medical grounds were among people protesting the government’s vaccine mandate in Kingstown on Friday, 10 December 2021.
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Teachers’ Union called out teachers and their supporters to protest the COVID-19 vaccine mandate, which has put the jobs of some 300 teachers on the line.
