Two men were shot and killed and two others injured in Upper New Montrose, on Monday.
One of the injured men is believed to be one of two masked shooters who opened fire, claiming two lives just before 6 p.m.
Dead are Elon “TV Head” Barbour, 35, and Daniel Skerrit, 28, both of New Montrose.
An ex-police officer, who was present when the shooting began, returned fire, injuring one of the shooters.
The injured man, who is in hospital, is said to have returned to St. Vincent recently from another Caribbean country, where he served prison time for a firearm offence.
The other shooting victim is New Montrose resident Delbert Hogley, a passer-by who was shot in the earlobe and was treated in hospital and discharged.
The two killings bring to 17 the number of homicides in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in 2022.
They came four days after a body, later determined to be that of Precious Williams, 17, of Walvaroo, Sion Hill, was found in a bag in Richmond Hill.
Police investigations into the killing continue.

Returned fire? That is when you are being shot at. The case is already tried then.
