A Vermont woman has been remanded at His Majesty’s Prison for a week as she awaits sentencing for stabbing a 12-year-old student, police say.
Noella Soso, a 27-year-old domestic appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, where she pleaded guilty to wounding the student.
Soso stabbed the student to his left hand and left leg with a knife in Penniston on Jan. 3.
She returns to court on Feb. 18, for sentencing.
Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that the woman had been remanded until Feb. 18, 2023, as police said. She was actually remanded for one week.
