A Chester Cottage woman died at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital around 11 p.m. Saturday, about two hours after she was admitted with a stab wound to the abdomen.
iWitness News was reliably informed that the woman, Altavea Billingy, 28, was taken to hospital after police broke up an altercation involving her and a man in Kingstown.
The man remains in police custody as their investigation continues.
