Four people have been detained as part of an investigation into the discovery of two high-powered firearms found in the Bower Mountain in Georgetown on Thursday.
Police said Friday that one AR-15 rifle, one Draco semi-automatic pistol, two magazines, and 93 rounds of 5.56 ammunition were discovered and seized by the police.
The illegal items were seized during a joint operation involving officers from the Narcotics, Rapid Response, and Special Services Units.
No one has been charged, up to the time of publication.
Police said their investigations are ongoing.
