Four men were shot and killed in Kingstown tonight (Wednesday), bringing the homicide count in the country this year to 34, following a record 42 in 2022.

Police and onlookers are on the scene where the men died in a hail of bullets near NAPA, in the area of the Grenadines Wharf on the eastern end of the city.

Another man who was injured during the attack was taken to hospital but iWitness News does not have any additional information about his condition at this time. 

iWitness News has been able to verify that one of the dead men is a Paul’s Avenue resident who goes by the alias “Dutchie”. 

The deaths bring to six the number of people murdered in the country since Tuesday morning, when Kemon Roberts, 28, of Golden Vale, was shot in his community when walking to work just before 8 a.m.

Then, Tuesday night, Kingsley “Crime” Shallow was gunned down in Montaque, Mesopotamia.

Every law abiding citizens must go for a legal fire arm to protect yourself and family. The police cannot be Every where to come help you. Plus some police stations have no transportation so sad cops got to walk miles on miles when on call.
