Two new champions were crowned at the Police Cooperative Credit Union-Police Christmas Carolling Contest on Friday.

Traffic Angels defeated seven other senior choirs while Spring Village Police Youth Club Carollers defeated eight junior choirs, including the defending champs, Layou Police Youth Club Carollers, to be crowned junior and senior champions for 2023.

The event, held on the compound at the Central Police Station, got off to a late start due to inclement weather. However, when the competition began, the choirs did not disappoint the appreciative audience. It was keenly contested in both categories.
