A man was on Monday, Christmas Day, still unresponsive and in the Intensive Care Unit of the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH), six days after falling from a truck along the O’Brien’s Valley Public Road.
The man, Anthony Williams, a 30-year-old truck conductor, of Diamonds Village, was riding in the pan of the vehicle when he fell around 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Williams fell, striking his head and body on the road, and immediately fell unconscious.
He was taken to the Modern Medical and Diagnostic Centre in Georgetown, but was later transferred to MCMH.
The truck, TM987 a Nissan Atlas was driven by a 42-year-old chauffeur of Georgetown.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
