Coreas Distribution has  partnered again with the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital to present the Huggies First Baby of the Year token to the parents of  the first baby born at the hospital in 2024.   

Baby Cassiah Walters was born on Jan. 2, at 8:57 a.m. to Cassandra Gerald and Gerald Walters. Her birth weight was 7.5lbs. 

Huggies presented the baby’s parents  with a package consisting of Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers stages 1–3, Huggies baby wipes and Kotex feminine hygiene products.

“To ensure that all babies born in the month of January are well taken care of, Coreas Distribution has also donated 10 cases of size 1 Huggies Snug & Dry diapers and 10 cases of Huggies baby wipes to the Maternity Ward at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital,” the company said in a press release, adding that the total value of the donation is in excess of EC$4,000.

These donations were presented to the hospital by Akeil Matthews, brand manager for Huggies and Bruce Baptiste, sales representative.

Sister Donette Chance-Williams thanked Coreas Distribution and Huggies for the donation on behalf of the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
