Vincentian students are invited to apply for a scholarship offered by Isle of Man & St. Vincent and the Grenadines Education Programme (ISEP), for the academic year 2024, commencing in September 2024 and ending in 2026.

The successful applicant will pursue the international baccalaureate (IB) diploma at the King’s Williams College in the Isle of Man, one of the leading and most established IB schools in the British Isles.

The scholarship is fully funded and will cover: tuition, accommodation, living expenses, flights to and from the Isle of Man at the start and end of the programme of each academic year, a round trip back to SVG at Christmas break, and incidentals, such as warm clothing and luggage.

The scholarship is open to nationals and citizens of SVG, with a maximum age of 17 as at May 31, 2024.

Applicants must have at least seven CXCs at Grades 1 or 2 including maths and English (and any other core subjects required for the IB Diploma Programme).

The student must live in SVG, with emphasis on locations in (i) previous volcano eruption orange or red zone, or (ii) an indigenous community, and (iii) the Grenadines but not excluding any other locations in SVG.

Further applicants should have notable academic achievement, be involved in extracurricular activities (sports, dance, drama, art, music, etc.) and be involved in community activities.

The full criteria for selection, together with application forms, can be obtained from the principals’ offices at secondary schools or at the Ministry of Education (Office of the Chief Education Officer).

ISEP, a registered charity, is dedicated to supporting the overall educational growth and development of the youth in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, through benefiting from partnership with the Isle of Man.

In 2022, ISEP’s inaugural programme was launched when 12 students of the SVG Community College travelled to the Isle of Man for a three-week educational course.

In 2023, ISEP’s first scholarship was awarded to a former student of the Girl’s High School, who is presently pursuing studies in the Isle of Man.
