Police are investigating the death of a man whose naked decomposing body was found in his house in Argyle on Wednesday, around 3 p.m.

The dead man has been identified as Arnis Marshall, a retiree “over the age of 60,” police said.

The Police Public Relations and Complaints Department said that officers at the Biabou Police Station responded to a report and met the male body lying naked on its back.

“It was reported that his daughter called him about 2:30 pm that same day but he did not respond. She later sent someone to check on him which led to the discovery,” police said.

A post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted on the body.
