A mother is expressing concern about her daughter who did not return from work at a restaurant at Argyle International Airport on Tuesday.
Andrea Allicott, of Belair, told iWitness News on Wednesday that her daughter, Coneecia Woods, 19, of Campden Park, works at High Flyers at the airport.
Woods lives in Campden Park with her boyfriend, but the mother said she sees her daughter every day as her daughter would pass by the mother’s workplace daily.
Woods worked the 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. shift on Tuesday but her boyfriend contacted Allicott at 1:23 a.m. Wednesday, saying that Woods had not returned home, Allicott told iWitness News.
She said that when she saw Woods on Tuesday, she was wearing a black top, blue jeans and a brown handbag.
“I am not feeling good. That is my daughter. I am telling you she is not a person to do this. So, that is the frightening part of it,” the mother said.
She said her daughter is not the kind of person who would shut off communication from those closest to her.
“We have a very good communication; if she is going through anything she would call and say. … She is not a person to just disappear on us and no one knows her whereabouts.”
Allicott said that Woods would normally travel home in a vehicle that transports airport workers.
“She keeps complaining that when the vehicle takes her home, she gets home later because she is the last person to get dropped off,” the mother said, noting that her daughter lives in Campden Park.
The mother said she did not speak to her daughter on Tuesday after she visited because Woods works at a restaurant and cannot be on the phone while on duty. Allicott further said that she, too, works at a bar.
She said that Woods’ boyfriend also said she was not in contact with her during her shift on Tuesday.
The mother said that Woods’ boss told her that he would ask Woods’ co-workers if they knew about her whereabouts but had been unable to reach two of them via phone at the time of the interview.
She said she had reported the situation to the police at Stubbs who said they could not act on her report until after 48 hours.
Sad story. I pray she be found safe
This can’t be for real….. The police could not have told her that. This is just unbelievable.
The forty eight hour rule does not apply when someone does something that is outside of their normal routine.
So if I’m an accustom to go out drinking on weekend and return home on Monday. Then if I’m reported missing on Saturday, the forty eight hour rule may apply, because it’s the norm for me.
However, if I visit my mother everyday after work, or I call her every day and I did not visit her as I normally do, neither did I call her and I am not accessible by phone….. Then that’s outside the norm for me. And consequently, a missing person’s report must be acted upon immediately under those circumstances…
Trust that she is okay and is located soon.
They are watching to much damn movies .
She done sleep over by she’s other man.
I wonder if the other man who seduced her was no other than C.Ben-David of Layou. I doubt that though . He may not have the weapons of seductions.
Gal just went for soldering. What’s the big deal?
Vincenian girls feel they are slick. They have ways of clandestine enhancing their appetite to enjoy a variety of experience. They quite often do it in such a way to cover up activities Oftentimes their whereabout are quite unknown. This is primarily thebreasons why when they are found over a bank escarpment or a body bag the culprit is never found. This is to their detriment. However, it makes law enforcement a difficult proposition.and a real challenge.
