At least two people who were injured in the accident at Stoney Ground involving three vans on Wednesday say that their property is missing and presumed stolen.

The father of a banker who was injured in the accident told iWitness News that her purse, which contained EC$500 in cash, was missing, even as her employment identification card was found at the scene.

The man said he had heard that someone had taken up the bag that had been left behind even as the passengers were rushed to hospital.

However, neither he nor his daughter had received any information on who collected the items and where they were located.

He said that the brother of a man who was also injured in the collision has also reported that the injured man’s laptop computer and mobile telephone are missing.

That minibus, along with H3647 and HY403, all of which ply the Kingstown-Vermont route, was involved in the accident.

H4303 appeared to have been the most badly damaged of the three minivans.
