Vincentian sailors Scarlett Hadley and Kai Marks Dasent have been invited to attend the 86th Barbados Sailing Week, which kicks off this weekend.
They will represent St Vincent for the first time at the junior dinghy event.
The sailing week offers a week-long celebration of sailing with each day promising a new experience.
The first event of the week is the Junior Dinghy Event taking place this Saturday and Sunday at the Barbados Yacht Club.
The action starts on Saturday with two days of racing in the picturesque setting of Carlisle Bay.
“This is the third year that our sailors are attending regional and international regattas and support from companies like interCaribbean will play a vital role in the development of our sailors, helping them reach the world stage,” Vincy Sailing said in a press release.
