A dog has bitten at least 10 students, one teacher and a parent at the Girls’ High School (GHS), located at one of the two temporary campuses that the government opened in Arnos Vale in 2021.
GHS and Thomas Saunders Secondary School, which is located at the other temporary campus, are sometimes forced to close because of flea infestation.
Kenton Chance reports…
The police would likely attempt to put the dog down. That’s what they are usually called for to my knowledge.
Good report Kenton. I’m surprised though that with this dog on campus issue you somehow did not mention that a Bill had been passed in Parliament to deal with stray dogs and given the repeated health issues at these schools there has been no serious effort to deal with the many strays in this area. There are at least up to eight at anyone time which converge here daily and why not? There is a lot of food readily available at both schools. Nuff fried chicken about here.
I wonder what is the next step since the Bill was passed relative to dogs.
A chicken leg laced with gramaxone would take care of that problem permanently.
