Police in St. Vincent and the Grenadines are investigating two shootings in two communities in the country earlier Tuesday night.
A businesswoman was rushed to hospital after being shot in Coconut Range, Camden Park, sometime around 7:30 p.m.
iWitness News was reliably informed that the woman was shot multiple times.
Then, about an hour later, a man was shot in the lower back near a business place in Arnos Vale.
One person who witnessed the shooting said that the person collapsed to the ground after being shot.
The victim of that shooting incident was also taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where he is receiving medical attention.
The conditions of the shooting victims are not known to iWitness News at this time.
