The tattoo artist who alleged that police beat him in Ottley Hall on Thursday has been charged with trespassing onto the police outpost there to annoy a police officer and resisting arrest.
Tristan Williams, 27, of Ottley Hall, appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on Monday and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Police are alleging that Williams entered upon the property of the Ottley Hall Outpost with intent to annoy a 26-year-old police officer of the same address.
He was further charged with resisting the arrest of the same police officer while acting in the due execution of his duty, by pulling away his hands from him.
Police did not disclose the identity of the police officer in their statement on Monday, although the officer’s name would have been mentioned when Williams appeared in court.

The court allowed Williams’ station bail to continue and set his trial for April 28, 2026.
