Clarke Road Veterans got into the winners’ corner in the Festival Division when they defeated Sarasota International Cricket Club 40+ by 113 runs at the Sion Hill Playing Field on Tuesday, Day 3 of the 2025 SVG International Masters T20 Cricket Festival

Batting impressively, Clarke Road Veterans rattled up 243 for 4 in their 20 overs. There were half centuries for Ravi Samaroo 60 and Earnil Ryan 52 not out, while Andre Browne 33 and 31 each from Kevin Ramkarran and Gregory Mahibir all contributed to the total.

Rohit Joshi returned the best bowling for Sarasota 40+ of 2 for 23 in 4 overs.

Sarasota 40+ struggled in their reply and ended on 130 for 7 when their 20 overs ran out. Warren McGregor scored 32 not out and Jaikishen Koranchath made 22. Ahkeel Mollon was the pick of the bowlers for Clarke Road Veterans with figures of 3 for 26 from 4 over.

Also in the Festival Division, Cricket Canada Masters Council held off Mustique Company Masters to win by 24 runs at Park Hill.

Cricket Canada Masters Council reached 118 for 7 in 20 overs, of which Kamal Parmar stroked 43 and Harman Dosanjh 34. Colbert Raimie grabbed 3 for 17 from 4 overs for Mustique Company Masters, who fell short of the target at 94 all out in 19.1 overs.

St. Clair Bascombe’s 24 was the most significant contribution. Vinay Devisetty snared 3 for 1 from 7 deliveries to steal the victory for Cricket Canada Masters Council.

Festival Division

RSVG Police Masters wasted no time in arresting North Leeward Masters at Cumberland, winning by 138 runs in their Festival Division encounter.

RSVG Police Masters chalked up 207 for 4 in their 20 overs behind a sparkling 52-ball 92 from Hyron Shallow; 49 not out by Parnel Browne; and, 37 by Salvan Browne. Kiven Michael took 2 for 48 with the ball for North Leeward Masters were shot out for 69 in 16 overs.

Only Leon Samuel, with 25, put up any resistance to the lawmen. Elmore Alexander, 2 for 5, Orlanzo Jackson, 2 for 10, Hyron Shallow, 2 for 17 and 2 Maccoven Jack 2 for 18, handcuffed the North Leeward Masters batting.

Still in the Festival Division, North East Masters stopped New York/Stubbs Masters, beating them by 6 wickets at Park Hill. New York/Stubbs Masters managed 116 for 9 in 20 overs, mainly due to a well-played 62 not out by Kissinger Mcclean. Deighton Butler 4 for 13 in 4 overs and Alfred Howe 3 for 17 from 4 overs bowled well for North East Masters, who made 122 for 6 from 18.4 overs to secure the win.

Deighton Butler, batting at number 7, rescued the innings with 37 not out, while Elton Williams added 27. Sylvan Spencer, 3 for 25, and Nurlan Williams, 2 for 19, did not do enough to restrict the North East Masters batting efforts.

In the Fete Division Group A

In the Fete Division Group A, defending Fete Division champions Windies Masters strolled to a 10-wicket victory over AMAAS Sporting Services Barbados Veterans at Stubbs.

AMAAS scored 124 for 6 in 20 overs and were led by Winston Warren who hit 46 not out, and Ryan Durant, who added 24.

Chris Vernon’s 2 for 20 were the best figures for a bowler from Windies Masters, who needed 13.4 overs to reach 125 without loss.

Chris Vernon returned with the bat to score 59 not out while Neil Baptiste was also left unbeaten on 51.

D&D Auto World beat Canada Masters Cricket Club by 5 wickets at Cumberland. Canada Masters Cricket Club totalled 156 for 5 in 20 overs. Naveed Sehrai top-scored with 35 while Nadeem Kmokmar made 33.

Shari Mohummed 2 for 17 and Adesh Dass 2 for 44 got amongst the wickets for D&D Auto World, who replied with 160 for 5 in 19.3 overs.

Anummad Sookram shone with a stylish 66 while Deonarine Deyal added 34 to the D&D Auto World victory cause.

Fete Division Group A

Curtis Richards 3 for 21 was the pick of the Canada Masters Cricket Club bowlers. To complete the Fete Division Group A matches of Tuesday, Monroe Road Masters beat Trinbago Leatherbacks by 50 runs at Stubbs. Monroe Road Masters got up to 156 for 6 in 20 over.

Anil Barlo hit a 29 ball 53 while Vejai Seonarine made 33. Alvin Hope took 2 for 27 with the ball for Trinbago Leatherbacks backs who could only manage 106 for 7 when their overs ran out. Reginald Jeffrey 28 not out and Bobby Kallie 22 not out were their principal scorers.

Fete Division Group B

Ghanshyam Ramnarine took 2 for 20 for Monroe Road Masters.

In the Fete Division Group B, AMAAS returned to winning ways with a 10-run win over Woodland Masters at Park Hill. AMAAS got up to 145 for 5 in 20 overs, mainly due to Owen Berch, who carried his bat for 67 while Pedro Agard contributed 32.

Robert Mahabir picked up 2 for 31 for Woodland Masters who fell short in their run chase; 135 for 5 in 20 overs. Kalaparsad Sanasie made a fist of it but was left hanging on 57 not out. Anthony Morris was the most successful bowler for AMAAS taking 2 for 21 from 4 overs.

Then, to cap off the Fete Division Group B matches, Prime Minister’s XL went under to North Windward Masters by 5 wickets at Arnos Vale Two.

Prime Minister’s XL were dismissed for 106 in 13.4 overs with Rohan Ash top scoring with 35. Haniff Ollivierre 4 for 30 and Francis Johnson 3 for 32 did the damage for North Windward Masters who replied with 109 for 5 in 11.5 overs. Kayon Boyea 38 niot out and Olando Lavia 28 saw North Windward Master to their victory

target. Noel Samuel took 2 for 28 while Ansil Hooper picked up 2 for 33 for Prime Minister’s XL.

On Wednesday D&D Auto World meet Munro Road Masters at Sion Hill from 10 a.m. while Windies Masters take on Trinbago Leatherbacks at Park Hill from 10 a.m., both in the Fete Division Group A.

In the Fete Division Group B Rungetters Sports Club battle Woodland Masters at Arnos Vale 2 from 10 a.m., AMAAS log horns with Prime Minister’s XL at Stubbs from 10 a.m. then Sarasota come up against V.J.’s North Windward Masters at Park Hill from 2 p.m..

The Festival Division completes the roster of matches with the RSVG Police Masters doing battle with Mustique Company Masters at Arnos Vale 1 from 10 a.m., Cricket Canada Masters Council come up against Clarke Road Veterans at Arnos Vale 1 from 2 p.m. while North Leeward Masters meet New York/Stubbs Masters at Cumberland from 2 p.m.
