The 69-year-old man whose decomposing body was found in a two-storey abandoned house in Park Hill on Wednesday died of multiple chop wounds, an autopsy has found.
Police have launched a homicide investigation into the death of the man, Errol Richards of Park Hill.
iWitness News was reliably informed that most of the chop wounds were to Richards’ head, which was almost severed.
However, he had chop injuries to his hands, including some missing fingers.
Police said in a statement on Thursday that residents of Park Hill informed officers of the discovery of the body around 7:02 p.m. Wednesday.

The death penalty has to be reintroduced to send a message to criminals.
The bible and churches are coming under critical examinations and the DEN-Z population doesn’t attend church or read the bible. They don’t see a path way for a good life in this world and many are committing suicide and killing innocent people because they are not afraid to die.
