Senior Magistrate Tamika McKenzie has jailed a Campden Park man for eight months and six days for stealing two tins of HS Ultra Gloss Tire Shine valued at EC$69.99 from a store in Kingstown.
She handed down the sentence on Tuesday on Peter Dasouza, a 58-year-old carpenter, one day after he committed the offence.
The accused man pleaded guilty to the charge.
The magistrate also ordered that the stolen items be returned to the store.

The man is 58 yrs old. He should have being given the opportunity for remediation.
Better use of resources of the taxpayers dime matters. Come on magistrate.
