Vermont resident Kamal Small aka Condom has been charged with murder in connection with the stabbing death of a woman in Campden Pak on Friday.
Small appeared before the Serious Offences Court on Monday, where Chief Magistrate Colin John read him the charge.
He was not required to plead at that stage to the charge that he murdered Rayjens Carter, 27.
He was remanded to prison until July 2 for the next hearing in the case.
Carter, who is originally from Fitz Hughes, died at the scene at Lashum’s Bar in Campden Park, after being stabbed in the neck.
Small was arrested in connection with the killing on Saturday.
Small has made headlines for a number of offences, including stealing items valued at EC$68,150 from a store in Kingstown on Dec. 26, 2021; burglarising a church in Kingstown in December 2022; and stealing a ewe goat valued at EC$400 in Kingstown that same month.
