The Department of Diaspora Affairs joined the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) to connect with the Vincentian diaspora in the United States at the Vincy Day USA Picnic on Saturday in Long Island, New York.
This event provided an opportunity for the Department of Diaspora Affairs to engage with members of the Vincentian diaspora, share information, and gather data to support more effective communication, engagement, and collaboration with the Vincentians abroad in support of the national development of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
As part of the outreach, members of the diaspora were invited to complete a questionnaire designed to help the Department better understand the interests, experiences, skills, and areas of potential contribution within the Vincentian Diaspora. The questionnaire was made available in both digital and physical formats to facilitate participation.
The Department of Diaspora Affairs continues its efforts to strengthen its engagement with the Vincentian diaspora and encourages those who have not yet completed the questionnaire to do so.
The questionnaire is available at this link.
βThe department appreciates the continued interest, participation, and support of Vincentians in the diaspora and looks forward to fostering stronger connections and partnerships that contribute to the development of St. Vincent and the Grenadines,β a press release said.
