The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is asking the public to help identify the body of a man that was found floating at sea off Cane Garden.
A police release said on Thursday that the body was recovered from the sea around 11:25 a.m. Tuesday.
“We are asking persons who have a male relative or loved one who is currently unaccounted for to contact the police and, where appropriate, assist with the identification process at the mortuary,” the release said.
Police said the condition of the body makes it difficult to establish who the man is, “through ordinary visual means”.
They are now asking anyone with a missing male relative to contact the police to assist with the identification process at the mortuary.
People with information can call investigators at (784) 457-1211 or (784) 456-1810.
