The Naima Foundation Bookfun Club Biabou last Sunday received Independence love from Tizana Goodluck-Hedge, a member of the community who lives overseas.

Goodluck-Hedge is an entrepreneur in the fitness and wellness circle operating her own company brand Tizana’s Body Renewal. She was awarded last year by the Vincy Cares organization in the United States and this year donated items to the victims affected by the trough system last Christmas.

The contribution, which was handed over by her aunt, Asmin Keir, treated the children with midterm back to school items, including pencils, pens, rulers, erasers, notebooks, pencil cases and sharpeners.

The children were very elated to receive the items. Co-founder, Adonia John-Bramble and Deputy Coordinator, Aphene John on behalf of the foundation expressed gratitude for the items and support the foundation continues to receive from the community and other wellwishers.

Keir challenged the children to use the supplies to gain a solid foundation and encouraged them to work hard at school to receive better grades so that one day they will become successful too.
