NEVIS:- A 31-year-old Vincentian man died in Ramsbury, Nevis Tuesday night after receiving several gunshots about his body, SKNVibes reported on Wednesday.

Police Inspector Andre Mitchell told the news outlet that Wesley Trimmingham was shot in the vicinity of a church after an outing with a friend.

SKNVibes reported that the shooting took place about 10 p.m. while the man was making his way home after having some drinks with a friend at a bar.

The friend, who had stayed at the bar, said he heard several gunshots shortly after the Vincentian man left. He was found on the ground with several gunshot wounds about his body.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and police say they were continuing investigations.

The shooting on Tuesday brought to four the number of homicides in St. Kitts and Nevis this year. No one had been charged in connection with any of these deaths.
