ST. VINCENT:- Delroy “Fyahman” Hooper might just have to settle for one soca crown this year, unless he can win the Road March title on Tuesday.

The prolific artiste, who has won the Soca Monarch title six times, entered the third consecutive year of a dearth just to the left side of the soca monarch throne.

He will for the next year pay soca servitude to Gamal ‘Skinny Fabulous’ Doyle who won the Soca Monarch crown on Saturday, for the third consecutive year.

The two artistes were favoured to be the top two among the 18 contenders for the title and the role of the judge was virtually to decide who had the edge.

It seems that Fyahman’s was not prepared for when Skinny Fabulous “Charge Up” and the latter was left wounded on his “Soca Battlefield”.

Former Soca Monarch and the first ever Ragga Soca Monarch Raeon “Maddzart” Primus won the third place with “The King Road”.
