KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent — Holders of licences for firearms meet today, Sept. 1, in an effort to form a National Shooting Range Association.

The meeting will be held at the Old Montrose Police Station from 4 p.m.

The meeting will examine a constitution for the association, determine a membership fee, as well as fees for the usage of the shooting range at Arnos Vale.

The meeting will also discuss the sale of firearms and ammunition, and the training of licensed operators in the use and care of firearms.

All licensed firearm holders and dealers, have been invited to attend this meeting.

Police Commissioner Keith Miller, and the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security, Godfred Pompey, will make short address at that meeting.
