KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent — Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will on Saturday lead a seven member delegation on an official trip to Cuba.

The delegation includes Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Douglas Slater and Minister of Health Cecil McKie.

The others members of the delegation are businessman Gideon Browne; farmer Lennox “Hucks” Da Breo; teacher, calypsonian and former opposition senator Gerard “Rasum” Shallow, and Sergeant Adrian Francois of the Prime Minister’s security detail.

The delegation will meet and hold talks with a number of Cuban officials, on matters related to health, airport development, education, agriculture, culture, sports and business development.

Prime Minister Gonsalves is expected to hold extensive talks with the Cuba’s President Raul Castro on matters of mutual interest.

The delegation will return to St. Vincent on Sept. 17.
