KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent — A prominent trade unionist was mugged here last night, a well-placed source has told I-Witness News.
According to the source, the trade unionist was strong-armed in the vicinity of Rio Foods on Back Street.
The source said the trade unionist was bitten on the hand and relieved of a piece of jewellery by the assailant.
The police were summoned and are said to be investigating.
