
KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent — Relatives and friends of a Dorsetshire Hill man is seeking the assistance of the public to raise EC$40,000 for him to seek medical attention.
A Facebook group has been set up to raise the monies for Gilbert Greaves, 38, who is hospitalised at the Milton Cot Memorial Hospital after he was beaten two weeks ago.
According to reports, it is believed that the father of three children might have been robbed.
Relatives found him in a pool of blood after hearing a loud noise near a shop in Dorsetshire Hill owned by his sister Saffurn Greaves-Haynes.
The injured man is said to have suffered multiple fractures to the head resulting in two blood clots in his brain and the loss of his left eye.
He is said to be in urgent need of surgery to remove the blood clots.
