KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent – A fire in Kingstown Sunday night damaged at least one building but the cause of the blaze and extent of the damage is not yet known.
Reports indicate that the blaze broke out in a building housing a meat outlet in Lower Bay Street, sometime between 10 and 11 p.m.
The blaze Sunday night brings to at least three the number of fires in Kingstown over the past six months.
Census data at the Financial Complex, which also houses the Office of the Prime Minister, was destroyed by fire last October.
The firebug struck again six weeks later, destroying one house and damaging another in the Paul’s Avenue.
