KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent, March 4, IWN – A man is expected to be charged with murder tomorrow — Tuesday — in connection with the death of a 12-year-old boy in Layou in late 2011, a police official told I-Witness News on Monday.
The man will hear charges related to the disappearance and death of Dwayne Stephon Miller, whose decomposing body was discovered in the mountains of the Central Leeward town on Nov. 4, 2011, five weeks after he went missing from his home in that Central Leeward town.
Police recovered Miller’s body with the assistance of fellow Layou resident McCarthy “DJ” Patterson, then 28, who police had arrested in connection with the disappearance of the secondary school student.
But the police official, however, withheld the name of the man expected to be charged with the crime until he appears in court.
