On Aug. 17, Alvin Hannaway, a 41-year-old construction worker of Sion Hill, was arrested and charged with malice aforethought caused the death of Damari Miller, a 21-year-old conductor of Belair, to wit “by stabbing him on the left side of his chest with a knife,” at Arnos Vale on Aug. 17.

On Aug. 17, Ian Gould, a 35-year-old farmer of Lowmans Leeward was arrested and charged with malice aforethought caused the death of Owen Pompey, a 47-year-old farmer of Troumaca, to wit, by stabbing him about his body with a knife, at Morne Ronde Mountain on Aug. 12.

On Aug. 18, Travis Williams, a 25-year-old mason of Diamond, was arrested and charged with malice aforethought caused the death of Grafton Hutchinson, a 71-year-old of businessman of Stubbs, to wit by striking him on his head with a claw hammer, at Stubbs between June 19 and 20, 2011.

Malice aforethought is the “premeditation” or “predetermination” (with malice) that was required as an element of some crimes in some jurisdictions, and a unique element for first-degree or aggravated murder in a few. I am unsure if this charge in SVG means premeditated murder or not. But whatever it means why not explain to the public just what your talking about.
