Leader of the Green Party, Ivan O’Neal, has been visiting areas affected by the 24/12/13 disaster.
The Green Party said in a release that it sends its condolences to the families of those that have lost their lives in the floods.
“Our thoughts are also with those who have family members still missing and those who have lost their house and possessions.”
Nine persons have been confirmed dead and four are missing and there has been extensive damage to public infrastructure and housing.
“The floods are devastating to our country and we urge Vincentians to work together to help clear up this devastation,” the Green Party said.
