Applications for the One Young World Summit now open!

Do you have a vision to make St. Vincent and the Grenadines and CARICOM a better place? Would you like to meet and learn the keys of success from world leaders like Kofi Annan, Sir Richard Branson, Bill Clinton, Arianna Huffington or Professor Muhammad Yunus? Then read on, as this is the opportunity of a lifetime.

One Young World was founded in 2009 and every year the Organization brings together young leaders from across the globe to find innovative solutions for some of the world’s most pressing issues including: climate change, youth unemployment, human rights, security, HIV/AIDS and governance. The Summit serves as a space for the most talented change makers to formulate and share innovative solutions for some of the world’s most pressing issues.

The 2014 One Young World Summit takes place on Oct. 15 – 19 in Dublin, Ireland and Vincentians are eligible for the All Bar None Scholarship. The scholarship was created to increase participation from underrepresented countries.

While the application process is competitive, if selected, the All Bar None sponsorship includes:

  • The cost of travel to and from Dublin, Ireland.
  • Hotel accommodation
  • Delegate access to the One Young World Summit 2014
  • Catering which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Transport between your hotel accommodation and the Summit venue
  •  Summit hand­outs and support materials
