Local cricket is set to resume this weekend (Feb. 8 and 9) starting with the Premier Division.
Just promoted Police One will start their 2014 season playing Team Rivals 1, who was shared title holder with Victors 1 last season.
Police One and Team Rivals 1 match up will take place at Arnos Vale 2 playing field.
The First Division season will bowl off on Feb. 16 with teams greatly anticipating the new one-day format, following the decision taken at last annual meeting to restructure cricket at that level.
The restructuring will now facilitate the early commencement of the local Female Tournament, which is also set to start in early March.
Last year’s season saw some outstanding performances, with 11 centuries, and 4 ten-wicket hauls.
