Police say they are investigating the attempted murder on Sunday of a man who received a gunshot to his left leg.
The man has been identified as Nigel Regisford, a 44-year-old farmer of Biabou.
Police say the incident occurred about 8:30 a.m. at Calder.
The shooting injury of Regisford came just one day after Campden Park fisherman, Nolly Jack, 45, was shot and killed by an unidentified assailant along the road to Lowman’s Bay, bringing to seven the homicide count so far this year.
Also last week, a masked attacker shot an killed Paul’s Avenue resident, Kwasi Ryan, 24, in his yard in the presence of his mother.
No one has been charged with any of those shootings.
It is not known is there if the shootings are connected.
