Regional bank CIBC FirstCaribbean is embarking on an initiative — “Talk to Me Tuesdays!” — which will see its branch managers, sales staff  and customer service representatives engaging in a highly interactive and personalized manner with customers who visit its banks.

Talk to Me Tuesdays!, which will occur at branches once every month between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. until the end of the year, will allow customers to receive firsthand information on all special promotions being offered by CIBC FirstCaribbean as well as the other products and services offered by the bank such as mortgages and loans, credit and debit cards, Auto-Pay for credit cards balances, credit card security insurance and internet banking and online bill payment.

“This dynamic sales drive is intended to provide us with more opportunities to deepen our relationship with our existing customers and build relationships with potential clients,” said Mark St. Hill, CIBC FirstCaribbean’s Managing Director, Retail, Business and International Banking.

He said it also offered staff “a chance to leave our respective workstations and engage our customers in the banking hall in a very interactive and personalized manner…

Talk to me Tuesday’s will be launched in St. Vincent next Tuesday.

What they should do is dump their nasty phone system and talk to their clients and customers all of the time.

    1. I couldn’t agree more my brother! The bank’s initiative is simply designed to trick poor people in giving up the little bit of money they have. Why don’t they have a “money give back to customers” drive for the rest of the year from the huge profits they made over the entire period they’ve been operating.
